Lindsay is a Senior Family Lawyer with experience in top-tier, mid-tier, boutique, regional, and suburban law firms. After graduating from the University of Queensland with an Arts/Law degree, Lindsay has developed a strong Family Law practice based on a” Clients Come First” philosophy. He has represented clients in Magistrates, Children’s and Family Courts, domestic and family violence, child protection, parenting, property and spousal maintenance matters throughout Queensland, NSW, Victoria, and Western Australia.
In addition to being an exceptionally experienced courtroom litigator, Lindsay is a strong advocate of pre-action procedures and the settlement of matters via negotiation. He has represented numerous clients in alternative dispute resolution processes such as private mediation and arbitration. A father of three and grandfather of two, Lindsay’s lived and professional experiences, and his passion for all things family, make him a protective and respected lawyer dedicated to his clients no matter what time of day or night they may need him. Lindsay welcomes the merger of the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia in September 2021 and the much stronger focus on pre-action procedures and programming of litigated matters to achieve timely resolution of disputes for parties.
